Avid readers of poetry will be glad to know that there is a new release coming out from one very talented writer and poet, Esnala Banda, fondly known as Nala. Set to be released this month, Sketches of Paranoia is an anthology of poetry that explores varying aspects of human relations, societal consciousness and love. Nala beautifully explores these themes with whimsical style as she effortlessly weaves through sonnets, free verse, haikus, and tankas.
An Afro-creative, who’s been active in the local creative space as a blogger, poet and writer, Esnala is a regular contributing writer to Nkwazi Magazine, African Feminism and Zambia Travel Magazine. She has been writing poetry for the past 10 years, performing her works on stage for 8, gracing platforms such as Bittersweet Poetry and various others including the 2018 V‐Day celebrations and the Zambian Feminists Women’s Day poetry show.
